Basic Photoshop Tutorial By: RedMonkey

This tutorial took me about 5 days total to complete. It covers all basic photoshop elements for the beginner. This tutorial also can help novice photoshop users get to know it better. This is a signature i made for a SOTW on a forum I am a member at, this signature got me a 1st place in a SOTW (Signature of the week) They loved the c4d effects the splatter brush with the clipping masks and loved the flow of how it looked like a girl coming out or hiding behind darkness...hence the name, my favorite part was how the C4D presented a perfect balance of color to the girls face.

Cloaked is a signature I focused on creating a dark tone but keeping it bright as to create a good focal and great appearance. Here i added ALOT of clipping masks on top of a splatter brush, I also added some vector brushes along the left side. I wanted to get some good detailed clipping masks around the hood which you can see and some smoky type look by his face.

I made this signature more focusing on C4D effects and clipping masks, also adding more designer text. Also along with that i used flow with a C4D, C4D had many many effects, photo filters, and different blending modes.

Here is a signature I made using a Linkin Park render, This one i specifically focused on lighting and focal point, along with creating a greenish dark tone.
